[[wikilinks]], ((block refs)), ^block-ids, cloze ({{c1::…}} and {{cloze …}}), task keywords, checkboxes and YAML frontmatter are understood and cleaned out of the finished card. Code fences and frontmatter are never turned into cards. Bold, italic, highlight and code carry through to Anki as HTML.
